CDS Board Votes to Approve 2007 Conference

At the March meeting of the Board of Directors, the board approved to hold the 2007 Annual International Conference in Appleton, Wisconsin USA after intensive review of the proposal submitted by the Wisconsin Rural Partners. The conference will be held in conjunction with the National Rural Development Partnership's Annual Conference, and it is anticipated that the event will draw 600-700 attendees.

Located along the banks of the Fox River and Lake Winnebago in east central Wisconsin lays a cluster of dynamic communities known collectively as the Fox Cities. In the heart of these communities you will find vibrant Appleton, population 75,000. Logistically, economically and culturally, Appleton will have a lot to offer the attendees of the event.
